Bel Air Drama Company is back and better than ever with their fall musical, “Elf: The Musical”, performing December 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.

BADC has been around for many years and with the direction of Mr. Nathan Jourdan, is excited to be back on the stage. “Elf: The Musical”, based on the popular Christmas movie starring Will Ferrell, “Elf” follows the story of an elf named Buddy going on a journey from the North Pole to New York City in order to find his dad, who happens to be on the naughty list. The heart felt tale tells the story of finding family, love, and saving the Christmas spirit. Does Buddy have what it takes to save Christmas? Find out by coming out to see the show. Tickets are $10 online and $12 at the door.

The show’s star, sophomore Adam Kindley, had a lot to say about not only the show, but the cast and crew.

“Ms. Bales and Mr. Jourdan have been working incredibly hard and they’re doing a wonderful job. The whole cast, the ensemble. It’s just a really good experience and all these people are really what makes it what it is. And not just the cast, but the crew too because they’ve been working so hard and it’s absolutely inspiring. It is just so much fun and if you come and see it, I can promise you will have fun.”

Mr. Jourdan described the show as a “breathe of fresh air.”

“I’ve really enjoyed being with the students. And it is great to be on the stage,” Mr. Jourdan stated on being back after 2 years. “It’s great to be working with kids who are enthusiastic about what we’re doing and being part of something that they know is bigger than life itself. It’s a breath of fresh air from all of the cloudiness and darkness that we’ve been through.”
