On Friday morning, April 5th, Quill and Scroll Honor Society held its first annual induction ceremony in the media center here at Bel Air High School. Teachers Laura Willhelm and Elizabeth McCourt inducted nine new members with their families to the International Honor Society for Journalism and Yearbook publications.
Students inducted included Aubrey Klarman, Ethan Dean, Maya Cavolo, Jolie Hewitt, Ella Durden, Emily Bailey, Makaila Guerrier, Morgan Solle, and Julia Beyers.
Quill and Scroll is an honor society focused on the founding principles of journalism and yearbook. During the ceremony, inductees swore to be honest journalists with integrity and the curiosity to learn more and uncover the truth for the greater good of society. Each new inductee received their pin, a certificate, and some also received a cord for graduation.
Afterward bagels were served as well as to all the parents who attended. Congratulations, everyone!
