O’s Season One of Excitement and New Talent

Os Season One of Excitement and New Talent

Brayden Lusby, Sports Writer

The Baltimore Orioles are currently prioritizing rebuilding and bringing up young talent in their ongoing season, led by manager Brandon Hyde. They are striving to create a competitive team while facing challenges in the present. As of this morning, the O’s are 10-7.

Throughout this season, the Orioles have shown potential in developing their young players, particularly Ryan Mountcastle, A 25-year-old first baseman who has been a consistent offensive threat, leading the MLB in both home runs and RBIs.

Cedric Mullins, a 28-year-old outfielder, has also been a standout player, contributing with his speed and defensive abilities.

Despite these bright spots, the Orioles have encountered challenges with an inconsistent pitching staff and young pitchers still learning at the major league level. Nevertheless, the team has demonstrated resilience and determination in close games and tough battles.

Additionally, the Orioles are dedicated to rebuilding their farm system, acquiring top prospects through trades and the draft to cultivate young talent for the future.

Looking forward, the Orioles are optimistic about their future prospects, with a solid core of young talent, a dedicated coaching staff, and a front office focused on player development. Although the current season may have its challenges, the Orioles are confident in building a team that will contend for years to come.
