Homecoming Week is Here

During the week of Sept. 29, 2014, the students and faculty of BAHS will be participating in a series of homecoming week activities leading up to the Homecoming Dance.

Each year, students show their school spirit by dressing up, joining after school activities, and attending the annual homecoming football game.

This year, the schedule is as follows:

  • Monday, September 29th– Decade Day
  • Tuesday, September 30th– Hawaiian Day
  • Wednesday, October 1st– Tie Dye Day
  • Thursday, October 2nd– Class Color Day
  • Friday October 3rd– Blue and White Day/Toga Day for seniors

Also on Friday, the Homecoming Parade will be held at 6:00 p.m. along with the BAHS Homecoming Football Game. The Bel Air Bobcats will be taking on the Perryville Panthers at 7:00 p.m. The Homecoming dance will take place on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 7:00-10:00 p.m. at Bel Air High School.

Mrs. McDonough, Freshman Class Advisor, said, “The amount of effort I put into homecoming week is worth it every year!”

Each class competes against each other to earn the most points to be crowned champions of homecoming week. Points are earned by participating in spirit week and joining in on the after school activities. The class that earns the most points will be awarded money for their class fund.

Students and faculty are highly encouraged to show their Bobcat pride during spirit week, and to make each year better than the last!
