The Bel Air High School Pop Choir and Jazz Band performed a concert at 11 a.m. on Office Street, near the Court House on Main Street.

The performance started around 12:00 p.m. with the Pop Choir presenting their talent first. They were then followed by the beautiful sounds of the Jazz Band.

For their performance, Pop Choir sang All the Cats Join In, Mack the Knife, New York State of Mind, Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off, and Season of Love.

Marvin Dunmeyer, a BAHS senior and a member of Pop Choir said, “Everyone loved the Pop Choir’s performance, and we all did a great job!”

The Jazz Band performed right after and played their songs Groove Broker, One o’ clock Jump, American Patrol, Trick Shot, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, St. Louis Blues, Cladonia, Second Line Blues, and Woodchoppers. While they were playing, a couple of older audience members stood up from their chairs and started to swing dance.

Everyone enjoyed both performances. The Jazz Band and Pop Choir left a huge smile on the crowd.
