On Friday, Jan. 20, the Bel Air Bobcats played a three-way against North Harford High and Havre De Grace at Magnolia Middle School.

The Bel Air Bobcats won with combined scores of 115 and 134. The boy swimmers scored 64 and 69 and the girl swimmers scored 70 and 56.

The top scorers from the Swimming Bobcats were Xavier Kane, Drew Gagnon, Rob Powell, Matt Weaver, Matt Siebold, Becca Entner, Sydney Mika, and Eliza Cohen.

“Havre de Grace may have a small team, but they have lots of talent! We really respect the way they came out and swam on Friday night. They were there to put up their best times and really showed BAHS and NHHS what heart they really have,” says Coach McDonough.

Bel Air swam very consistently as they have all season. This led to an undeniable top finish in the tri-meet.

“Both teams we faced swam really well and did great things in the pool.” McDonough states. “Our team numbers and depth in the pool really helped us finish on top.”
