The BAHS Class of 2015 has their third and last senior meeting of the 2014-2015 school year. It lasted the whole first hour and the beginning of second hour.

Mr. Komondor first started off the meeting, speaking to the senior class about how grateful he is of how the senior class is doing during the school day and throughout the school year. He said, “from now until graduation day, we should all look out for each other and help each other out when needed, so every student will be in that arena, getting their diploma.”

The topics and information spoken at the meeting are as follows:

• Senior Prom
  • The cost for prom tickets is $120 per couple and $60 for a single
  • Tickets are on sale before and after school in Mr. Smith’s room from Monday, April 13 until Thursday, April 23
  • If taking an out of school guest, you must have the signed permission slip before purchasing tickets
  • You and your guest MUST complete and sign the Prom Policies Contract before purchasing your tickets
  • Anyone attending the prom must be in school on Friday, April 24 for the entire day
  • All prom attendees must arrive at the prom by 9:30 pm
  • All school rules are in effect at Martins East
• Prom Court
  • Nominations for prom court will be made by the faculty and staff
  • Seniors will vote for the prom court during homeroom on Wednesday, April 22
• Spring Senior Shirt
  • There will be a meeting to design the spring senior shirt on Tuesday, April 28 at 2:15 p.m. in Mr. Smith’s room
  • Shirt orders will be taken between Monday, May 4 and Friday, May 8
  • Cost of the shirt is $15
• Graduation Speeches
  • Anyone interested in speaking at graduation will need to submit a typed speech to Mrs. Taylor by Tuesday, May 5
  • Speeches should be 2 to 3 minutes in length
• Senior Class Trip
  • Trip is at Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia on Monday, June 1
  • Tickets are on sale between Monday, May 4 and Friday, May 8
  • Tickets are $80 per senior
  • Bus sign-ups are a first come, first serve basis (need both your permission slip and money in order to sign up for a bus)
  • SENIORS MUST BE ON THE TRACK TO GRADUATE IN ORDER TO ATTEND
• Graduation Tickets
  • Tickets will be distributed on Friday, May 29 during practice
  • Each senior will get 6 tickets
• Graduation Attire
  • Seniors must wear their caps/gowns for Baccalaureate, Senior Awards Assembly, and Graduation
  • Boys must wear white button down oxford dress shirts and dark ties, black or navy blue dress slacks, and black or navy blue dress shoes and socks
  • Girls must wear white or light colored dresses and white dress shoes with a heel strap
• Graduation Products
  • Jostens will be distributing announcements, caps/gowns, and other graduation products on Friday, April 24 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the auditorium lobby
