Bel Air Victorious in First Track Meet of the Season

On Friday, March 29, 2019 the Bel Air Track team ran their first home meet against Aberdeen High School and Bo Manor High School.

The Bel Air Girls’ Track Team came in first overall with a score of 111.5. In the 200 meter dash, junior Emilia Dziedzic placed first overall with the time of 27.0. In the 3200 meter race freshman Mackenzie Morrison placed first with a time of 11:43.8. Many girls reached new personal records for their first meet.

“I’m really proud of our team and how well we performed at this meet” said Sophomore Kylie Mika.

The Bel Air boys’ track team came in first overall with a score of 86. In the 200 Meters dash senior Maxwell Fisher came in first place with a time of 23.2. In the 3200 Meter race junior Caleb Zylka came in first overall with a time of 9:56:2. Many boys reached their new records for their first meet.

“I am very surprised on how well I did at this meet but im am also proud of the team,” said sophomore Matthew Reynolds.

In the Men’s pole vault sophomore Matthew Reynolds came in first place with a score of 8-00:00. In the Women’s long jump Emilia Dziedzic came in first place with a score of 15-00:00
