On October 17 and 18, the Varsity Girls Volleyball team caught two victories against the North Harford Hawks and the Edgewood Rams.

On Tuesday, October 17, 2017, The Bobcats traveled to Edgewood to play their second to last away game of the season against the Rams. For the second time this season both the JV and Varsity won in straight sets against the Edgewood Rams.

On Wednesday, October 18, 2017, the Bobcats took on the North Harford Hawks, at Bel Air. Once again the Varsity Bobcats made quick work of the Hawks, beating them in straight sets. But the Junior Varsity team lost in three sets.

“We didn’t play our best when it mattered and this loss will only make us stronger,” said junior varsity Player Lauren Winn.

The Varsity Girls Volleyball team remains in second place this week behind undefeated Rising Sun. They are still undefeated in league play, but have an overall record of 10-2 reaching double digit wins last week.

“Both teams have fought this season, varsity especially with having players going down with injuries, these challenges have helped us to fight even more, we are working hard to finish out the season strong,” said Junior varsity player Ellie Smith.

The JV and Varsity teams will finish their seasons this week, October 23-27. On Tuesday, October 24, the teams will travel to Havre De Grace; JV playing at 5 and Varsity playing at 6:45. On Thursday, October 26, the teams will play their final game of the season against Elkton, and will also be celebrating Senior Night. JV plays at 5, and Varsity plays at 6:45. Come out and support your Bobcats as they celebrate their seniors, and finish out their season.
