On Thursday October 12, 2017, The Varsity Girls Volleyball team held their annual Dig Pink game at home to raise funds for the Side out Foundation.

The Varsity Girls Volleyball team played back to back games this week, beating Joppatowne in their Dig Pink game and losing to The Notre Dame Preparatory School. The Girls team celebrated a quick victory on Thursday, winning in straight sets against the Joppatowne Mariners.

On Friday October 13, 2017, The Varsity and JV played The Notre Dame Preparatory School. Both teams suffered their second loss of the season. JV lost two sets to zero, and Varsity lost three sets to one. With this loss, Varsity suffered their second non-league game loss making their record 8-2 overall.

“I love the way we have been playing, we love to play as a team, and I don’t want the season to end,” says JV Girls Volleyball player Lauren Winn.

With the Bobcats recent loss to The Notre Dame Preparatory School, the Bobcats record stands at 8-2, but the Bobcats remain undefeated in the league, as the two losses were from teams that aren’t in their league division. Even though they lost Friday, the Bobcats remain at the top of their league standings.

“We have been playing as a team and I love how we came together this season,” says JV Girls Volleyball player Sarah Markland.

The Bobcats will play their second to last home game of the season against the North Harford Hawks on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, JV at 3:30, and Varsity at 5. Come out and support your cats as they begin to finish up their season.
