On Wednesday, Dec. 7, our Bobcat wrestling team started the season off with a win 60- 18 against Arundel High School.

Both JV and Varsity teams competed in latest match, combined the won almost every dual.

Sophomore Jack Brink contributed six points to the Bobcats’ score winning his dual by a pin on an Arundel team mate.

“I think we had a great start to the season,” says sophomore wrestler Jack Brink. “We beat a team that is very close to being the top 15 in the entire state so it really was a good start to the season.”

Both captains Tommy Gomez and Scott Miser both got pinned, contributing another 12 points to the score.

“We’re a hard-working team trying to be hard competition for the state duals this year and I think we’re making an impression.” Captain Gomez states.
