On Thursday, Sept. 15, the Bel Air Bobcats took on Elkton and Rising Sun at the Winters Run Golf Course and won with a score of 219.

The final score between the three teams were Bel Air at 219, Elkton with 295, and Rising Sun with 263.

The Bel Air Golf Team won by a whopping 76 against Elkton and 44 against Rising Sun. The top scorers who stroked the best were Evan Ripple and Nick Daristotle.

“Our seniors stepped up and played their best golf of the season in this match.” Says Coach Doyle. “While the competition might not have been as strong, we played great team golf and shot a combined 220 team score.”

The remaining players that contributed to the amazing final score were Ryan Menchen who stroked a 43, Josh Stocum with a 49, James DiMeo with a 49, and Natalie Herndon with a 53.

“We’re in a good position going into our next match on Tuesday at Winters Run Golf Course against a good Fallston squad and Joppatowne,” remarks Doyle, in parting words as he prepares his team for their next match.

The Bobcat Golf Team will play again on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at the Winters Run Golf Course at 3:00 p.m. Wish them luck!
