On Thursday, Jan. 7, the Bel Air Bobcats Swim Team met at home at Magnolia Middle School against Harford Tech.

The Bobcats came in first place with a combined score of 205 while Harford Tech lost with a score of 127. The Boys scored a 106 and the Girls scored a 99.

Out of the 24 events that were played The Bel Air Swim Team did phenomenal as both the girls and boys placed first in the 50 Yard Free and Fly.

“Every swimmer did their part to bring another win to our overall record. We had people swimming in events they had never even done before,” said Ms. McDonough, the Bel Air High Bobcats Swim Coach.

The top scorers for the boys were Matt Siebold, Connor Fallace, Drew Gagnon, Mason Wooten, Ryan St. and Xavier Kane. The top scorers for the girls were Madelynn Dougherty, Olivia McPhee, Victoria Kolossey, Emma Manno , Ellie Harris, and Rebecca Entner.

“Harford Tech has some very strong competition that pushed our team to do their best in each event,” Coach Mrs. McDonough stated.

The Bel Air Bobcats Swim Team will face Fallston on Thursday, Jan 14 at Magnolia Middle School.  The meet will begin at 5:45 so come out and support our Bobcats swim their way to victory!
