On Wednesday, Oct. 1, the Bel Air Girls’ Varsity Volleyball team traveled to C. Milton Wright and gained another victory in 3 sets. The Bobcats now are starting up their second round of games in the season and are motivated to keep the best record in Harford County. With a tough loss to Rising Sun, the girls are determined to do whatever they can in the remaining season to get better for the match against them at the end of the season on senior night.

Key players that lead to the successful win against C. Milton Wright were offensive hitters, Taylor White, Kaitlyn Cassaday, and Lena Sierocinski. Setter Anna Wojciechowski assisted over 25 times. Defensively contributing to the win was Briana Karayinopulous and Nicole Lippert, both giving great passes.

“Communication is something that will help a team win. I appreciate this win, however, we have a lot to get better on. Teams are looking to beat us, and no game is ever going to be given to us,” said Head Coach Dave Marzola.
