On Friday, Sept. 26, the Bel Air Bobcats defeated the North Harford Hawks by a score of 21-7 in their very own Bobcat Stadium.

This in-county rivalry was a great competition between two outstanding teams in the 3A North conference. The game went underway on the third play from scrimmage with a long catch and run for a touchdown by Senior Kyle Hamrick.

“I have to give all the credit to the offensive line for giving the quarterback enough time to get the ball to me. Without them the play would’ve been unsuccessful,” said Hamrick.

On the defensive side of the ball Senior Brendan Yetter, led the team with 16 solo tackles.

“We knew it was going to be a real test going into the game. North Harford is always a tough team and they gave us a hard fought battle the entire night,” said Yetter.

The Bobcats play their Homecoming game this Friday, Oct. 3, at Bobcat Stadium against the Perryville Panthers. Go Bobcats!
