The real highlight of the weekend was the environment in which the team ran.  The team got to spend time at Six Flags and the course went through a safari.  “The whole weekend was so much fun that it’s hard to pinpoint one [favorite] event” said Senior Trent Tolley.  The meet brought out the competitive side of the Bel Air High School athletes. “We had to represent where we are from and show New Jersey what running looks like down here,”  Tolley also stated.  Junior Joe Ciufo added, “This meet made me more motivated because people in the top class varsity race are very intense and it motivated me to stay with them and even run harder than them.”

The cross country team will compete next at Gun Powder Falls State Park on Saturday, October 5th.
