On Tuesday, September 24th, BAHS Boys Volleyball played an amazing game against Fallston High School and picked up a motivational win to make their record 2-3.
Before the game, Bel Air was ranked towards the bottom of the conference with a record of 1-3; Fallston was undefeated. Bel Air went into the match having lost to teams that Fallston had crushed, so they didn’t have high expectations for the game.
They split the first 4 games, each winning 2. Fallston won the first and third game by scores of 25-12 and 25-21 respectively. Bel Air won the second and fourth game by scores of 25-21 and 25-23.
In the fifth and final game, Bel Air fell behind early at a score of 14-8. With only one more Fallston point until the end of the match, the Bobcats fought back, scoring 6 consecutive points to tie up the game 14-14. The teams traded points until the score came to 16-15. Bel Air then score 3 consecutive points and won by a score of 18-16.
“Arguably the best game I have coached and watched in the past 19 years at Bel Air High School,” Said Coach Tsomos.
Come support boys volleyball at their next game on Thursday the 19th at 5:00 at the Bel Air gymnasium.
