The Bobcat Varsity Baseball team finished off a strong week Thursday afternoon, with a 5-0 victory over cross-town rival, the Fallston Cougars. The Bobcats were led by a tough pitching performance by Tyler Riedal, pitching 5 innings, allowing 0 runs. Tyler Norcross followed Riedal for the final 2 innings, also not allowing a run to cross the plate. The offense was led by timely hitting, and heads-up baserunning, which completed a solid all-around effort.

The Bobcats were also in action Monday, with an 11-1 victory over Elkton, and Wednesday, a tough 1-0 loss to the conference leading North Harford Hawks. The Bobcats have won 3 out of their last 5 games, which is a good momentum boost as the regular season end approaches.

Coach Swanson added: “Everything is coming together for us at the right time. Our offense is getting stronger, our defense tougher, and our pitching performances more effective.” “As we move closer to playoff time, we definitely have something to get excited about.”
