On Tuesday, April 19, 2016, Ms. Deborah Cook-Goldman and Mr. Eric Wilson’s wedding was held at Bel Air High School. This was the first wedding ever to be held at the school. Students and teachers were invited to attend the ceremony.

The invitations were created by Mrs. Ballard’s art class and they participated in decorating the courtyard along with the Bel Air Drama Company. The wedding coordination was done by Mrs. Harris. The ceremony was held in the courtyard which was prepared by Mr. Hedelson and his environmental class.  Guests were greeted with music by Bel Air Quartet featuring Melissa Baum, Leah Rolf, Morgan Bair and Catherine Huang.

Ms. Goldman was escorted by Mr. Komondor. Mr. Eric Wilson’s best man was Mr. Charlie Taibi. The wedding was officiated by Mr. Taylor. The Bel Air Pop Choir sang “Unforgettable” during the service.

After the ceremony, everybody was invited to enjoy cake made by Chef Scott’s Students. The bride’s bouquet was made by Mrs. Straus. Flowers for the reception were coordinated by Mrs. Orman and made by the Harford Tech High School students. This day had many contributions from different people across Bel Air High School and Harford County.

Ms. Goldman said, “I spend so many hours working with fellow teachers and students. I love the caring and dedicated teachers that devote so much time to their profession. I share so many wonderful times learning and growing with my students. I wanted to share this day with an amazing group of people that I have come to know and love, the students and teachers of Bel Air.”

Photos were taken by Mr. Burke, Christian Beale and Julie Stuck.

The Bobcats wish the newlyweds a beautiful and exciting life together! Love is in the air!
