Students to Shred Ski Roundtop’s Slopes

On Wed., Jan. 29 and Wed., Feb. 12, the Bel Air Recreation Council is sponsoring ski trips to Ski Roundtop. This trip is open to all Bel Air High School students.

Lift tickets only are $75 dollars giving you access to all lifts in operation that day. This is for skiers and boarders who have their own equipment.  Lift ticket and Rentals are $100. This is for people who don’t have their own equipment.  The bus only ticket is $35 for students who have their own equipment and a season pass.

On the two dates of the trip, chartered coach busses will depart at 2:20 P.M. and return around 10:45 P.M.  The bus ride will take approximately an hour and a half to Ski Roundtop in Lewisberrry, PA. All packages include an optional ski/snowboard lesson and a meal.

“We went on 2 trips last year, and the kids had a blast! The conditions were amazing during both trips. We had so many seniors go on the trip last year, so we are hoping to rebuild the ski club and gain interest from more of the freshman and sophomores,” said Ms. Roppelt.  “We want the club to continue to grow so we can go on larger scale trips in the future. Everyone has a great time in the snow!”
