Friday  night (2.24.12) in the black box theatre (located in the front of the school) students will be able to perform not only their own slam poetry, but the poems of other poet,  as well. The Slam is open to all students, so write a poem and join in a fun and exciting night where you will get to hear originals by the poets themselves, and a poem from their favorite slam poet that means something to them. The slam starts at 6pm and costs$3. The money earned at slams go to the schools literary magazine that is filled with poetry and art submissions that come from you, BAHS artistic students.
