Bel Air Softball Brings Home a Win

On Wednesday, April 5, our Bel Air Softball Team brought home another win against North Harford High School, putting our new record at 4-1 after a devastating loss on Monday night.

The North Harford Hawks must be devastated to have been another victim of the Bel Air Bobcats, as we washed those Hawks out on their own turf when we defeated them 19-3.

Although North Harford gave their all last night, it just was not enough to beat our varsity freshman, McKenna Reiswig and our returning sophomore, Kat Perea who both hit homers in the sixth inning.

“We really owe it to Coach Donaldson, who really pushes us at practice. We’ve been really working hard on our hitting and it really paid off,” says Kat Perea after her amazing hit.

Just as always, our Bobcat’s defense played a huge role in dominating the field yesterday to make sure those Hawks never crossed our Bel Air home plate.

Kat Perea adds, “Our defense was solid,” smiling from ear to ear about the big win last night.

The next game will take place on Friday, April 7, at 3:30 p.m., at C. Milton Wright High School. Do not miss seeing another win by our very own Bobcat Softball Team. Go Bobcats!
