The Girls’ Varsity Basketball team is now halfway through their season carrying a record of 4-6. There most recent loss was the Patterson Mill Huskies on Tuesday, Jan. 13.

The most recent victory the Lady Cats’ had was on Thursday, Jan. 8, against the Edgewood Rams. The final score was 40-33 Bel Air. The game was extremely close throughout all four quarters. Going into half time, the score was 25-24 Edgewood. Our leading scorer was Rebekah Riley. Players on lock down defense was Rebekah Riley, Natalie Neff, Catia Johnson, and Mariah Thomas. Key offensive players include Elizabeth Hillman, Anna Wehland, and Renie Tsomos. This game was televised, thanks to the Harford County TV Network.

“We are your family your crew, your posse. No one believes in yourself more than you and your teammates, no matter what gym we go in or who we play, you play as a team. Go 100% and go all out, don’t just go 50% and be afraid to make mistakes,” said Varsity Assistant Coach Stants.

The Lady Cats’ have their next home game on Thursday, Jan. 15, against the Aberdeen Eagles, at home starting at 6:45 p.m.
