Baseball Continues Impressive Season with Victory Over Patterson Mill

On Wednesday, April 10, 2019, the Bel Air Varsity Baseball team defeated Patterson Mill High School by a score of 8-2, to improve their record to 6-1 on the season.

The Varsity Baseball team has started the season hot winning six out of their last seven games, beating Winters Mill, Rising Sun, Liberty, North East, North Harford High Schools. The Bobcats only loss on the season thus far has come against Fallston High School.

The Bobcats once again scored eight runs for the second time this week. The Bobcats have scored a lot of runs to start the season, with their most coming against North East when they scored 13.

“We have been putting in hard work at practice and it’s been reflecting in games. I feel really good about our chances this year, and I can’t wait for the rest of the season,” said Varsity Baseball player Jordan Reiswig.

To start the season the Bobcats now own a 4-1 league record, trailing only Bohemia Manor who owns a 5-0 record to start league play. The Bobcats early success to start the season is setting them up to compete for the Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference title.

“Our team is doing very well and our pitching and fielding has helped us out to start the season,” said Varsity Baseball player Josh Sellers.

The Bobcats next home game is on Monday, April 15, against North East. Come out and support the baseball team as they continue their season.
