The Bel Air Bobcats Varsity Football Team and Head Coach Dave Huryk are looking to bounce back after a 2014-2015 season where they lost in the regional championship to Franklin.

After bidding goodbyes to the class of 2015, the team will be relying on some new faces to help fill the void left by key players including Brad Casale and Devin Bowers.

According to Coach Huryk, the team is returning several key players including Keegan McHugh, Hunter Cohen, Daniel Webber, Cobi Droulliard, Dylan Robinson, and Jack Jenkens.

The team is also counting on some newcomers who will play big roles this season. Players like Freshman Christian Betters and Sophomore Devin Anderson are expected to step up this year.

Coach Huryk has high expectations for this team, especially after the team came close to being Regional Champions last season.

“Obviously, we want to go undefeated, but we really want to win the UCBAC,” Huryk said.

The Bobcats do not return to Bobcat Stadium until Friday, Sep. 25 when they play Fallston, after they play two away games at Friendly High School and Overlea.
