On Jan. 27, 2014, two Bel Air Girls’ Soccer players, Senior Jordan Layfield and Sophomore Andrea Sipos, were honored at the Maryland All-State Soccer Banquet for their outstanding skill level and competitive drive representing Bel Air High School.

With Andrea in goal and Jordan leading the team’s offense, these girls led the Lady Bobcats to a 15-3-1 record all the way to State Semi-Finals, ending an excellent run for the 2013 Girls’ Soccer Team.

“Going into the season, we knew we had something special. Our goal, from the beginning, was to make it to States, and we worked hard each day to get there. It was an honor to be a captain and it was an amazing way to spend my last season. We grew as a team and accomplished so much. Personally, making All-State meant so much to me in giving Bel Air High School some recognition,” Layfield said.
