The Bel Air Boys’ Basketball season is underway, and, after playing two county teams, the Bobcats have earned a respectable 1-2 record in the first 3 games.

Beginning the season a little rusty, Bel Air took a hard 61-31 loss to the Edgewood Rams on Fri., Dec. 6. On Wed., Dec. 11, a heartbreaking 51-50 loss to Fallston was the result of a solid defensive effort from both teams.

On Fri., Dec. 13, the Bobcats earned their first win at home defeating North East 83-56. Bel Air never let the lead fall under 20 points, and easily cruised to a solid victory. For Bel Air, Senior Chris Murdock knocked down four 3-pointers and lead the team with a total of 18 points, while Senior CJ Simmons contributed 6 assists and 10 points.

The next game will be on Thu. 19 at Perryville.
