On Tuesday September 10th, the Girls’ Varsity Field Hockey team traveled to Franklin High School to take on the Indians in Bel Air’s first game of the season. Bel Air came out on top with a 4-1 victory. Two goals were scored by Jessica Vasquez while Tori Griglewski and Judy Yurkofsky scored a goal each. Sam Keesey, Judy Yurkofsky and Anna Farley all contributed to the win by recording assists. Goalies Savanna Garcia and Morgan Domonico only let up 1 goal in the opening game. With a record of 1-0 the Bobcat’s will play Reservoir High School on Monday, September 16, at 4:00p.m in their first home game in Bobcat Stadium.
