The Bel Air Girls’ Varsity Volleyball team had a great week, defeating both C. Milton Wright and North East. The Lady Bobcats faced off against C. Milton Wright on Monday, September 24th and won in three games bringing their undefeated record to 8-0. This was a big win for the ladies, due to the fact that they had several players out due to injury. Jen Schofield set up the bobcat attack with 22 assists. Attacking up at the net was Kaila Gonzalez, Tia Williams, Jackie DeLuise, and Celeste Roland. They collectively contributed 27 kills, as well as great blocking and front row coverage. Kendall Daley played a great game with 10 digs and 18 perfect passes. Sam Liberto and Lexi Malinowski swept the floor with great back row defense. This was an exciting match to watch, as C. Milton was a great opponent and the girls never looked back on their record or took this game lightly. The Lady Bobcats played with mental toughness and spirit as the gym was loud and full of excitement cheering on this team that has come so far.

 The Girls Volleyball team then played North East on Thursday, September 27th and defeated them in three sets. Celeste Roland led the team in attacks with 11 kills, while Kaila Gonzalez controlled the net with 10 kills. Jen Schofield set up the Bobcat attack with 20 assists. Kendall Daley and Consuelo Ezcurra provided great back row defense. The ladies had great rallies and stayed focused to win the match one point at a time. They have been working very hard in practice and it shows in the game they play on the court.
