Nov. 28 is just around the corner and Bel Air High School is sponsoring the annual Thanksgiving in a Box! The packing and delivery of the Thanksgiving boxes will take place on Friday, Nov. 22.

This fundraiser will be supporting local families in need this Thanksgiving. Bel Air High School will be donating Thanksgiving dinner food and canned goods to families who cannot afford a Thanksgiving dinner.  Each homeroom has the option to participate, all you have to do is bring in the assigned food, canned or not, that your homeroom was assigned within the next 3 weeks. All food will be collected the Friday before Thanksgiving.

10th Grade English Teacher Mr. Skelton announced,” I love participating in these activities. It’s such a great cause, I believe that it is very important for students to participate and give back. It’s a great cause for a great donation.”

SGA 10th Grade Senator Meghan Thompson expressed,” I’m excited that we’re giving back! We get so excited for Thanksgiving dinner but we don’t realize the struggle of some families putting dinner on the table.”
