This year at Bel Air High School, everyone’s favorite, practically perfect, nanny will be taking the stage in the supercalifragilisticexpialidocious adventure of Mary Poppins the musical.

Bert, our chimney sweeping narrator, (Noah Courtney) introduces us to England in 1910 with the troubled Banks family. Young Jane (Hariana Sethi) and Michael (Erik Uebelacker) have sent many nannies packing before Mary Poppins (Katie Allison) arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones she has an effect on. Even the adults can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “anything can happen if you let it.”

Mary Poppins is an enchanting mixture of irresistible story, unforgettable songs, breathtaking dance numbers, and astonishing stagecraft. Show dates are April 16, 17, and 18. The April 16 and 17 shows will start at 7:00 pm. On April 18, there will be two shows: a matinee at 2:00 pm and an evening show at 7:00 pm. If you would like to be a part of this magical adventure, tickets our $12 at the door, or can be purchased online at seatyourself.biz/belairdrama for $10.
