Bel Air Bobcats Defeat North East Indians

On Tuesday, Jan. 3, the Bel Air Bobcats took on the North East Indians and won handily, putting up 70 points in route to a 70-53 victory and improving their overall record to 2-5.

The Bobcats’ offense was hot, putting up a season high 70 points and having multiple scorers in the double digits.

Leading scorer, Jon Scott, was on fire from the start, putting up 10 points in the first half and ending the game with 18.

“From the get go we were pushing the tempo and playing our game.” Says Scott. “It feels good when shots are falling and everything is clicking. I hope we take this momentum and push it into Friday night’s game.”

Senior Michael Yetter, who was playing in his first game back since suffering from a knee injury in the Patterson Mill game, played a tremendous role in the Bobcat win. Yetter hit a key shot to spark a Bobcat run that put the Indians away early in the second half.

“It felt great to be back out there with my team.” Yetter states. “I was impressed with how we played and closed out the second half. These are the types of games we need to boost our confidence and put us back on the right track.”

The Bobcats return home on Friday, to take on Bo Manor in another conference matchup, at 6:45 p.m. Come out and support the Bobcats as they look to add another tally to the win column!
