Bel Air Varsity Baseball Defeated by Patterson Mill

On Tuesday, May 10, Bel Air Varsity baseball hosted the Patterson Mill Huskies and lost with a score of 7-2.

Patterson Mill got off to a fast start, putting up 4 runs in the 1st inning to give them an early lead of 4-0. At the top of the 3rd inning, Patterson Mill added onto their lead extending the score to 5 runs.

The Bobcats responded in the bottom of the 3rd with a run of their own to cut the deficit back down to 4. The Huskies came right back in the top of the 4th, putting up 2 more runs to give them a 7-1 lead.

“We got off to a bad start and that cost us early in the game,” said Sophomore Liam Bowers.

The Bobcats scored late in the 7th but it would not be enough as the Huskies defeated the Bobcats by a final score of 7-2. The Bobcats finish the year with an impressive record of 10-4.

“Although we lost this game, I am confident that my team is ready for the Playoffs,” said Sophomore Liam Bowers.
