On Tuesday, May 10, Bel Air Varsity baseball hosted the Patterson Mill Huskies and lost with a score of 7-2.

Patterson Mill got off to a fast start, putting up 4 runs in the 1^st inning to give them an early lead of 4-0. At the top of the 3^rd inning, Patterson Mill added onto their lead extending the score to 5 runs.

The Bobcats responded in the bottom of the 3^rd with a run of their own to cut the deficit back down to 4. The Huskies came right back in the top of the 4^th, putting up 2 more runs to give them a 7-1 lead.

“We got off to a bad start and that cost us early in the game,” said Sophomore Liam Bowers.

The Bobcats scored late in the 7^th but it would not be enough as the Huskies defeated the Bobcats by a final score of 7-2. The Bobcats finish the year with an impressive record of 10-4.

“Although we lost this game, I am confident that my team is ready for the Playoffs,” said Sophomore Liam Bowers.
