Wednesday, Oct. 22, the Varsity Volleyball team held their senior night, having a match against the Rising Sun Tigers. Losing to them in three sets was rough, but it didn’t make the night any less special for the seniors. The seniors of the team this year are Taylor White, Mariah Thomas, Kaitlyn Cassaday, Nicole Lippert, Kirsten Johnson, Leah Lozzi, and Anna Wojciechowski. With introductions, flowers, and the gym decked out in red, white, and blue balloons, streamers and posters, the senior night turned out great. Even though the girl’s didn’t get the win, the night is still one the seniors won’t forget.

“We have been close with these seniors since freshman year, on and off the court, they have been great leaders and friends. We are blessed with the team that we have and wouldn’t change anything or anyone. The season ending and moving to playoffs is sad, because these are the last games with the seniors, but we aren’t done, we will end stronger than ever,” stated the juniors of the team.

The first week of playoffs the girls’ have a bye, then their first round of playoffs with be a home court advantage, on November 3 at 6 p.m. The team the bobcats face is yet to be determined.
