On March 11, 2015, the Harford Family House (HFH) received a $10,000 donation from Rosedale Federal.

HFH is the largest provider in the county of temporary housing for families with children in Harford County. HFH is the only organization in Harford County that is capable of keeping an intact family together during the crisis of homelessness.

Rosedale Federal recently donated $10,000 in order to support one year of housing. They also hope that it will support services for a family living in an emergency shelter apartment.

HFH director Joyce Duffy stated, “Rosedale federal is a generous supporter of the work of HFH. Their gift will cover expenses for a full year of emergency housing.”

These apartments fill a crucial need by providing stability for Harford County families in crisis. It is the HFH’s goal to end homelessness in Harford County, one family at a time.

Thomas S. Wintz Sr., president and CEO of Rosedale Federal, stated, “We recognize the vital assistance that HFH provides to some of the most vulnerable people in our community.”

Overall, the HFH encourages donations from anyone willing to donate to someone in need. You can visit http://www.harfordfamilyhouse.org/ in order to find out how you can get involved.
