Dynamic Performers Program has “Show and Tell” Performance

Emily Wagner

The Dynamic Performers program had their “Show and Tell” performance on Thursday, Jan. 7, where members presented their music pieces, solo, or as a group, to the Tri-M advisors.

Starting a few years ago, Dynamic Performers became an opportunity for Bel Air High School students who are interested in music. The program is run by the Tri-M Music Society, but anyone is encouraged to participate in the program.

“The Dynamic Performances are service projects performed by the musicians of the Tri-M Music Honor Society. If you are not in Tri-M, you are allowed to join if you play an instrument or sing.”  Stated Leah Rolf, leader of the program.

Dynamic Performers bring music and art to the community. The program generally performs at nursing homes and preschools, while Tri-M students perform at least once per semester.

“It brings a sense of community throughout Bel Air.” said Rolf.

Students participating in The Dynamic Performers Program at Bel Air are required to dress formal and accordingly. Jeans, sweatpants, t-shirts, and anything not school appropriate is prohibited. It is acceptable that students wear either slacks, dress shirts, casual dresses/skirts, and collared shirts.

Please stop by the Tri-M bulletin board outside the band room where more information can be found if you are interested. See Mr. Domenico, Ms. Matthews or any Tri-M member for help and more info on the program.
