Dynamic Performers Are “Bach”

With the beginning of the holiday season, the Dynamic Performers are starting up again with an appearance on Thursday, Nov. 20 at the Avondell nursing home here in Bel Air after school.

Dynamic Performers travel to different nursing homes as well as preschools to play their instruments. This year, they are hoping to expand their horizons and perform at a children’s hospital in December.

They are holding their show and tell after school on Wednesday, Nov. 12. The show and tell is a tool the students use to practice their pieces together. Students have the choice of performing within a solo, duet, trio, or quartet as well as what song they will play. Typically, students only play one song during their performance, but are not confined to do so.

Senior Sydney Schoff, who will be a part of a trio for the dynamic performer’s first appearance in late November commented, “The prep for Dynamic Performers is a lot of work, but when you see how happy the music makes the people it’s all worth it.”
