On February 1st, 2026, the 68th annual Grammy Music Awards took place in Los Angeles, California, hosted by comedian Trevor Noah.
Bad Bunny and Kendrick Lamar were the talk of the night, both winning the most awards overall. According to New York Times, Bad Bunny’s biggest moment was being the first Spanish speaking artist to win album of the year for his record ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos,’ which became a historic moment on the Grammy’s stage.
Along with Bunny, according to Grammy and LA news, Kendrick Lamar’s name was extremely popular throughout the night. He went on to win five awards, making history to become the most awarded rapper, outdoing artist Jay-Z.
Over 30 artists performed that night, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone in the crowd. Grammy.com stated some of the top performances came from Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter and Bruno Mars.
This year, a lot of new artists were given the chance to perform on stage. Artists like Alex Warren, Addison Rae, International girl group KATSEYE, Lola Young, Sombr, The Marías, and best new artist winner, Olivia Dean.
