On December 19, Ms. Sarah Wojcik, BAHS choral teacher and conductor of the pop choir visited several classrooms with students to perform and spread some holiday cheer.
The choir sung beautifully, with countless songs sung throughout the B1 class period. The most oustanding, perhaps, was the classic “Carol of the Bells.” Their pitch was excellent and well- put-together, easily harmonizing and working as a team.
They went floor to floor during the B1 period and into many different classrooms. It was a special chance for students to see how hard the choir works during the regularly scheduled school day. Wojcik agrees. “’I’m super proud of Pop Choir for how hard they have worked to find their sound so far this year. They have such good synergy as an ensemble, and I couldn’t be more delighted to work with them,” shared Wojcik.
Pop Choir’s performances are dwindling as the holiday gets closer. However, they will perform with Counterpoints and BAMS tonight, Monday December 22nd at Bel Air United Methodist Church! We hope to see you there.
