On November 12, 2025, BAHS students filled the football field stands for the annual Juniors vs. Seniors Powderpuff game. The weather was freezing, but the crowd was loud, and both teams were ready to show what they could do. It was clear that the juniors were confident, and the seniors were determined not to let their last year end with a loss.
The first half was packed with quick plays and strong defense. The juniors opened with short, fast runs that helped them move up the field. The seniors responded with organized drives and smart flag pulls, shutting down several junior plays before they could gain momentum. The score stayed tight, and every good play from either side got big reactions from the crowd.
As the game went on, the action got even more intense. The players were not afraid to take risks, leading to surprising long passes and some impressive flag grabs that had the sidelines cheering. Teammates encouraged each other constantly, and even students who were not playing were completely into the game, shouting support, and reacting to every big moment. Both teams showed real effort and teamwork, making the game exciting all the way through.
Late in the second half, the seniors finally broke away with a long run into the end zone, giving them the lead. The juniors pushed hard to catch up, but the senior defense tightened and held strong for the rest of the game. Touchdowns were made by seniors, Kayla Foughty, Ava Tischler, Annalise Lewis, and Val Maid, who each broke through the junior defense with strong runs and quick moves.
When the final whistle blew, the seniors celebrated their win 33-31, while the juniors kept their heads high after a powerful performance. Senior Olivia Carmello thought that “powderpuff was so fun and it was a big memory that I will cherish from senior year.” Even though only one team walked away with the victory, everyone agreed the game was fun to watch and full of school spirit. The players’ effort, the crowd’s energy, and the close score made this powderpuff matchup one of the most memorable events of the year at BAHS.
