On Thursday, October 26th, Bel Air High school’s’ volleyball team hosted their annul Dig Pink event, where everyone including the players wore pink to fundraise for breast cancer. This event included basket raffles and different items to buy in funds for the breast cancer awareness organization.
The Bobcats took on Fallston for JV and Varsity. Both teams had a successful night with JV winning their first two sets, which secured the win overall. Varsity won the first two sets; Fallston won the third set, but the Bobcats came back and won the fourth set, winning their game overall as well. We asked an attending fan, Corrine Lubiano how the game went, she enjoyed both team’s intensity. “I think JV was very motivated on the court. They really worked well together to win the game. The varsity’s game was pretty intense after losing the third set, but the team pulled through in the end, working together to win,” shared Lubiano.
Overall, the Bobcats had an amazing night, and all the girls pulled through for their team, working hard. Go Bobcats!
