The Bel Air High School Class of 2025 graduated at Harford Community College on May 29, 2025 at 6pm. The graduating class of 2025 is the largest graduating class in history, with over 3.9 million high school graduates, according to the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE).
Bel Air High School had Co-Valedictorians, a tied GPA between Justin Davis and Elizabeth Lewis, who both gave speeches at graduation. President of the Senior class, Isabella Lacerna, gave a speech as well.
History teacher, Mr. Jonathan Andrews, gave a speech at graduation. Each year, the Bel Air High School seniors vote for which teacher will be the Keynote speaker.
WICHE notes the number of high school graduates is projected to peak in 2025 and then decline in 2026; making the class of 2025 the largest in history.
Juniors of BAHS created and held rose arches for the graduation ceremony. A tradition for the Juniors every year; it allows the Juniors to be a part of the graduation process.

BAHS English Department Chair, Mrs. Laura Wilhelm, attended the graduation ceremony and gave out programs and tickets. Willhelm had a special connection to this year’s graduates. “This class is very special to me because I taught many of my students twice. Once in 9th grade and again in 12th grade. It was very special to see them come full circle.”
We wish the Class of 2025 the best of luck with their next journey, and we are so proud of their accomplishments here at Bel Air High School!
