On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, Bel Air High School held its annual senior award assembly for the senior class of 2025 from 6-8 pm.

There were over one hundred award recipients. The program included greetings by Bel Air High School principal Mr. Robert DeLeva, scholarship presentations by Bel Air High School assistant principal Mrs. Sara Collis and other special guests from the community, and school awards. The school awards included Academic Recognitions and Presentation of Cords, Seal of Biliteracy Awards, Department Awards, Athletic Awards, Maryland State Certificate of Merit Awards, and the Mary Louise Moore Scholarship Presentation.

Bel Air High School had the most students awarded the Seal of Biliteracy Award out of every school in Harford County Public Schools. Most notably, Student Camille Miller earned a “full-ride” US Naval Academy Scholarship.

Teacher and parent Mrs. Katie Forbes commented, “during the awards ceremony, I was blown away by the sheer number of students on the stage, many of whom I have known since they were five years old. It was a true pleasure seeing their hard work come to fruition.”

At the end of the ceremony, co-valedictorians were announced to be students Justin Davis and Elizabeth Lewis.

Teachers and admin presenting department awards included Janis Kozak, Laura Wilhelm, Deanna Smith, Regina Burstein, Kristin Maddox, Stephan Bitel, Kyle Benfield, Craig Reddish, Becky Will, Holly Olive, Josh Weeks, Connie Forster, Sam Romero, Nathan Jourdan, Robert DeLeva, and Terry Knight.
