On February 9, 2025, Kendrick Lamar and SZA stepped out on stage at the Caesars Superdome Stadium in New Orleans performing for the 133.5 million people watching at home.

Kendrick Lamar had 4 special guests performing with him:  SZA, Serena Williams, Samuel L. Jackson, and DJ Mustard. During the halftime show, Kendrick Lamar played diss track “Not Like Us” allegedly about mega-star rapper Drake and their long-standing media feud.

The 2025 Halftime Show was more than just a performance; Kendrick Lamar put social, political, and economic meanings behind his show. Lamar was surrounded by a sea of dancers dressed in red, white, and blue, and Native American background dancers dressed in the colors of the American flag. There were points throughout the halftime show where the dancers separated by the colors they were wearing and then came together to make the American flag.
