After 149 shows and almost a year and 9 months, The Eras Tours came to an end last weekend in Vancouver. Unlike any of Swift’s past tours, The Eras Tour included 10 completely separate sets with unique costumes and stage design to capture the essence of each induvial album known as her “eras”. Swift also had a special acoustic set, two surprise songs each night from her whole discography, Swift even making mashups of fan-favorite songs in the last couple of legs of the tour.
The Eras Tour became the first $2 billion tour, making it the highest-grossing tour in history. However, not only did the concert make history economically, but it brought millions of fans around the world together who all had one thing in common, their love for Taylor Swift. Trading friendship bracelets became an Eras Tour tradition as fans would dress up in their favorite eras and exchange homemade bracelets with fellow Swifties before the show.
With 149 dates, 51 cities, 21 countries, 9 openers, 44-46 songs each show, and a run time of about 3 hours and 15 minutes, The Eras Tour will be unforgettable. As Swift produces more albums and moves onward with her career, fans will forever commemorate the merriment and vivacity the Eras Tour brought.
