A few new teachers have been added to the Bel Air High Staff this year, and we’d like to recognize them through our series New Teacher Feature.
Joining us this ’24-25 school year is Mrs. Milagritos (Mili) Delgado! Delgado is a part of the World Languages Team. She educates students in Spanish 1 and 2. She is originally from Peru and graduated from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru in 1995. In her past career, she worked at an auditing firm: KPMG.
Delgado made her way to the United States in 1999 pursuing a master’s degree in accounting. She moved to Maryland in 2012 with her husband and that is when she became passionate about teaching. Delgado taught in Baltimore County for 9 years before coming to Bel Air High School, and overall she loves teaching and getting to know her students. Mrs. Delgado tells us, “I love being outdoors, and to play sports. I am also very artistic; I love singing, dancing, painting, writing, and acting.”
She spends her time at home with her husband, Rob and her son, Alex who is starting a career as a freelancer in the film/photography industry. Delgado makes her students a priority and knows what is important to her. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and going back to her country every year to visit and enjoy some delicious food.
We are so excited to have you join our team, Mrs. Delgado!
