The Bel Air High School’s football team kicked off the start of their season with a win against Fallston high school last Friday. The Bobcats have had a few struggles with some key players and injuries in the past few weeks, but that didn’t stop them from coming back and beating the Cougars in an exciting cat fight.
The game took place on Bobcat home turf, from a beautiful afternoon to shining under the Friday night lights September 6. The student section was packed with a blue-out theme, and the Bobcats led during the first half 7-6. They continued into the 3rd quarter 13-6 and finished off the game strong with a final score of 27-20.
Head coach Mr. Eric Siegel shared that he was “proud how the team competed and how we overcame injuries and struggles to pull out the win.” He also added it was a “testament to the depth of the team/program for the guys to step up and not [miss a beat].”
The Bobcats are excited to face the North Harford Hawks in their next regular season game scheduled for Friday, September 13th. Hope you can show up and show out to this away game on the Hawks home turf to support your team!
