The Bel Air Drama Company has released an exciting lineup of shows for the upcoming 2024-25 school year! Matt Cox’s “Puffs” will be coming to the stage in the fall, while Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” will be in the spring.
“Puffs” follows the Hufflepuffs, which are the endearing misfits of the magical world who are often overshadowed by the brave and heroic Gryffindor students. “Puffs” offers a fresh perspective on familiar characters and themes with its clever writing and witty jokes. It is full of uplifting moments and a message about finding one’s place in the world and is a fitting choice for the fall show.
The theatrical version of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” narrates the tale of little Charlie Bucket and his visit to Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. Charlie and the other four children embark on an exciting journey through the bizarre world of the chocolatier, where they meet a vibrant cast of characters. The tale expresses gratitude, pride, and greed via its stories and music, and will act as a satisfying closing for the class of 2025.
Don’t miss what is shaping up to be an amazing season for the gifted BADC performers!
