Do you, or your students, ever miss the fun educational games from primary education? While it may seem impossible, there are indeed such free games with an audience of secondary education students.
Field Day is a research lab at Wisconsin Center for Education Research, that is publicly funded and is committed to making free educational games. Not only do they make interactive classroom activities, but they also collect game data to identify how people interact with learning.
They partner up with various researchers, teachers, and game developers, to create brilliant and entertaining games. They are subject agnostic, meaning, they don’t only work on the classic foundational classes in the average high school environment.
Subjects range include journalism, various sciences (such as atoms, scientific modeling, life science, “The Yard Games”, etc.), history, and even more to come. So, what are you waiting for? Hop right in and explore their library of free, no downloads necessary, games!
