First Friday Brings a Crowd to Downtown Bel Air

On Friday, September 6th, Harford County’s Best Block Party took place as a series of events in the Downtown Area of Bel Air. Many people attended the free, local event. This month, First Friday was held on Main Street Parking Lot next to Main Street Tower.

First Friday began at 5 p.m. and went on until 8 p.m. Many people attended this month’s event, especially adults. The event is hosted by the Bel Air Downtown Alliance.

The town provided live local music performed by Stolen Identity. Many people enjoyed the music, as the band motto is, “If your mamma don’t dance and your daddy don’t rock and roll, then they haven’t heard Stolen Identity. There’s no way you can sit still when SI takes the stage. Even before you’re bored enough to dance, you’ll be tapping your feet, clapping your hands and singing along.”

Delicious food from Main Street’s, The Tower was available to the public at a reasonable price.

The next first Friday will be on October, 4th. This time the event will be held on the Corner of Office and Main Streets with live band, Remains of Radio. Anyone is welcome to attend the event and with free admission, there’s no excuse not to.
